Mr.Yonin Koike, deputy chief priest of Kobe Suma-dera Temple, visited Mahabodhi Temple in India, and chanted sutras together with the believers of Suma-dera Temple at the art museum where Shiozawa’s work “Buddha’s Universe Pilgrimage” is on display.

The final destination of the journey to perform a memorial service at the holy sites of India, wearing the Funsoue (The robe worn by the Buddha ) reproduced in Japan was the Mahabodhi Temple Bodh Gaya.
