On February 22nd, I was invited to the consecration ceremony for the newly created Reiwa Kannon statue at Shitennoji Temple in Tsu, Mie Prefecture.

The main hall features the work “Wave Dragon Zen Circle ” installed on the ceiling in a most impressive manner, and I was able to see it again after a long time.

The next day, on the sunny Emperor’s Birthday, I visited Ise Shrine. I made my way from the Outer Shrine to the Inner Shrine, paying my respects to the goddess enshrined at the Outer Shrine.

I made a promise to dedicate myself to new creative endeavors.

Every day, my intuition and daily practice are tested in the creative process… Driven by the refreshing breeze blowing through the sacred precincts of Ise, I set off on my return journey with a renewed sense of purpose.
