The samurai’s dining table is a set of 28 meals that combine “eating habits” based on the Yin-Yang and Five Elements, “ingredients” that provide the necessary nutrients, “condiments” that condition the body form the inside, and “seasonings” that have been handed down in Japan since ancient times to create a lean body.
This is a monthly dinner party held by Himiya Kannna at the mansion in Seijo, where she invites lectures and gathers guests.
Samurai originally had medical knowledge equivalent to that of traditional Chianese medicine practitioners, and chefs served the Feudal Lord as food doctors in charge of hosting banquets.
Himiya-san is a descendant of a distinguished family that once worked for the Kaga domain.
Today, the 319th official banquet, with the theme “Shinto and Food” – purifying Japanese dishes. In Shinto, food made from four legged animals is prohibited.
First, a toast from Shiozawa.
The lecture is Mr. Ichitaro Mizuma, a Shinto priest and an expert in the art of painting, who has planned and implemented many art exhibitions of famous paintings as an art producer, including those of Mark Estell.
He then went back to the Kojiki and touched on some of the hidden truths of ancient Japan that modern Japanese have forgotten, such as the deep spirituality of ancient Japanese culture, a belief system that doesn’t discriminate against human, animal or even plant. Unmatched by the Christian Bible that was forced on the Japanese by the Portuguese missionaries many years ago, the time has come to share this Shinto message of peace with the rest of the troubled world.
The time has come for Japan to take the lead in sending out a message to the world, with the year 2025 as the turning point.
Mr. Mizuma has travelled the world, is knowledgeable about world history, is a licensed Christian pastor, and understands the Bible, so his teachings carry a lot of weight and meaning.
At the end of the dinner, Shiozawa introduced his work and explained the Buddhism and Shintoism depicted in them. The guests applauded the color and beauty of the art and enjoyed learning about the related lore.
