Through an unexpected connection, we had the opportunity to meet His Eminence The Choje Rinpoche, recognized as a high lama of Tibetan Buddhism, on December 28, 2025.

He had already been informed about Shiozawa’s painting offerings for the Mahabodhi Temple in India, but on this day, we showed him photographs of past works and formally explained the activities to Rinpoche in person.

Many people attended the lunch meeting.

Shiozawa presented Rinpoche with a set of zodiac cards as a commemorative gift.

Rinpoche and his monks promised to attend the dedication ceremony at Mahabodhi Temple on February 5, 2026.

We look forward to meeting again in Bodh Gaya, India.
