The restaurant “alcove,” furnished with antiques reminiscent of a British country pub, is located in Kyoto’s Kita-ku.
Today, October 3rd,we suddenly felt like eating their food and visited for the first time in ages.

By chance, the head priest of Myokenji Temple, who had been very kind to Shiozawa, was sitting alone, leisurely sipping bourbon.


It had been so long since we last met him, and we were deeply moved! Over a glass of the head priest’s bourbon, we shared stories about our new challenges.

Then, an American man who buys Japanese antiques appeared. It turns out that he works at an antiques shop in New York and is well acquainted with Steve of Ronin Gallery, who is also close to Shiozawa.
