Due to the unexpected effects of the typhoon, healing artist Midori Matsuo came to our studio.

In her childhood she had a near-death experience and has had many mystical experiences since, which she attributes her link with a higher dimensional consciousness to. She is also active as a health advisor and specializes in genetics and immunology, which is very interesting given that she is so grounded in science, yet also believes in the metaphysical.

Midori seems to be able to connect with the same dimension in which Shiozawa is painting his new series of Buddhist works.

It seems that in addition to our earthly and physical existence, humans exist in four other parallel dimensions. Most people are completely disconnected from such dimensions, but in Shiozawa’s case all four of his inter-dimensional selves come together and he draws from the higher dimensional plane, to create his works in our reality.

Over the course of our dinner together, Midori had many interesting and mystical anecdotes to share with us. She is a messenger who conveys the value of aspiring to live a full life. It seems important to believe that despite living in our human reality, there are also powers much greater than us and beyond what we can see.
