The crowdfunding campaign for the third installment of the Reverse Silk Road project, “The Dedicating Painting Project for the Forest of Buddha’s Enlightenment,” launched on Makuake on November 19th, has already achieved 3669% of its goal with just over two weeks remaining.

The high-value Nishijin-ori products sold out immediately after launch, and on December 17th, additional items were relisted. This project has followed an unusual course even on Makuake.
