Shiozawa stopped by Gallery Kyoto Ba during breaks in his production work.


The exhibition on this day features only tasteful, outstanding works, including ceramic pieces by Mr. Katsuyuki Shinohara (affectionately known as KUMA-san).
After that, we headed to the excellent seafood izakaya “Ami Tatsu” in Sanjo Shopping Street.

We were all pleasantly tipsy as we headed toward Nijo Station and stopped at a quintessentially Kyoto bar. It was “Summer Taiyo,” the unpretentious, relaxing bar where Nakano-san always casually drops by.

What can we leave behind for the future? Even when relaxing, the conversation inevitably turns to such things.
“Those who do not advance must retreat; those who do not retreat must advance.”
It was a delightful, tipsy evening in Kyoto.
