日蓮大聖人ご降誕記念法要「日蓮涅槃図」初公開！「白蓮華屏風」同時公開決定！
Memorial Service for the Nativity of Nichiren Daishonin
The first exhibition of the “Nichiren Nirvana”and“White lotus folding screen” works will be held at the same time!
2023年、来る2月16日（木）、東京池上大坊本行寺にて日蓮聖人ご降誕記念法要の際に、最新作品「日蓮涅槃図」が初公開されることとなりました。1年に一度の恒例行事「白蓮華屏風」公開も同時に実施されます。是非この機会にご高覧頂けたら幸いです。
On February 16th,2023, ”Nichiren Nirvana” will be unveiled for the first time at Daibo Hongyoji Temple in Ikegami, Tokyo, during the memorial service for Saint Nichiren.
The “White Lotus Screen” will be also shown at the same time as an annual event. I would appreciate it if you could consider coming down for a look.

2022年12月28日に完成したばかりの作品です。
This is a work that was just completed on December 28, 2022.
日本では古くから涅槃図は決まったパターンがあります。しかし、本作品はそうした見慣れたものではなく、お祈りする人も現代人で表現されています。
パールインクによって光の当たり具合で見る色が美しく変化します。
In Japan, the concept of Nirvana has remained unchanged since ancient times. However, this work is not so familiar to modern praying people.
The special pearl ink creates iridescent colors that change beautifully depending on how the light hits it.
白蓮華屏風（現在に伝わる日蓮大聖人御誕生時の不思議な神秘現象を表現）
白蓮華屏風
2021年2月に完成されたもので、高さ1.8幅7.5mです。昨年2月にご開帳し1年ぶりに一般公開致します。日蓮聖人が生まれた時の不思議な神秘現象を表現しています。
Completed in February 2021, it is 1.8m high and 7.5m wide. It was exhibited to the public in February last year and will be exhibited again for the first time in a year. It expresses the mysterious phenomenon of when Nichiren Shonin was born.
