インドブッダガヤプロジェクト開始！

The India Bodh Gaya project started!

インドブッダガヤ、マハ―ボデイ寺院奉納画を来年に控え、エスキース制作が9月下旬から開始されました。
Esquisse(model) production of the painting dedicated to the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya next year has begun.

The esquisse consists of three canvases, and total size is195.6cm x 100cm.

当年12月上旬よりそのエスキースを持って現地視察をする為の打ち合わせをおこないました。
We will have a meeting to visit the site in early December with the esquisse.

その絵は、釈迦が悟りを開いたその瞬間を、仏教発祥の神秘的ストーリーと共に人間としての仏陀が描かれます。
このような仏教神話絵画の表現はこれまでにない全く新しい試みとなるでしょう。
The painting depicts the moment when Buddha attained enlightenment, along with the mystical story of the origin of Buddhism, and the Buddha as a mortal.
This kind of expression of Buddhist mythological paintings will be a completely new attempt and is rarely done.
