本能寺ホテルに作品”本能寺の変、信長青不動・光秀愛染明王図が展示開始！
The work ”Honnoji Incident Nobunaga Blue Fudo・Mitsuhide Aizen Myoo“has been exhibited at the Honnouji Hotel Lobby.
遂に祇園祭り前日に、1年余りの制作期間を経た作品が本能寺ホテルで展示されました。Finally, the day before the Gion Festival, the work that had been in production for over a year was exhibited at the Honnouji Hotel.
この絵画においての信長と光秀は本質的な天下布武を願い仏神に変化し永遠の平和と繁栄を願う姿を具現化したものであります。
右手の信長青不動尊は龍神に跨り昨今の天変地異や疫病を鎮め、人間関係における遺恨を祓いコロナ後の新しい世界のバランスを整え、地球平和の一翼を担う姿です。
左側の光秀愛染明王は、麒麟に跨り人を救うとされる6本の腕を巧みに使い、平和の世の中をより一層清らかにし、世界平和の礎となる姿を表したものです。
両仏神は、日蓮聖人の説かれた法華経の守護神であり文字曼荼羅の左右に位置し、ふたりをつなぐ蓮華の花びらが龍の鱗となり、ダイナミックな法華経の世界を表現しています。
日蓮聖人はこの世を浄土に変革するために仏の世界に命を投げ出し現世浄土を実現しようとしました。本作品は世界平和の礎になるよう日蓮聖人の願いが込められています。
In this painting, Nobunaga and Mitsuhide both wish for Tenka Fubu (Conquering the world with military power) and change into a Buddhist god, wishing for eternal peace and prosperity.
Nobunaga Blue Fudo on the right is a figure that straddles the dragon god, calms natural disasters and plagues, exterminates grudges in human relations, balances the new world after the pandemic and becomes involved in global peace.
Mitsuhide Aizen Myoo on the left side skillfully uses his six arms, which are said to straddle a Kirin（a chimerical beast from Japanese mythology）to save people, and further purify the world with peace and to represent the foundation of world peace.
Both Buddhist gods are the guardian deities of the Hokkekyo, about which the Nichiren saint preached, and a placed to the left and right of the character mandala (a cosmic diagram). The lotus petals that connect the two become dragon scales, expressing the dynamic world of Hokkekyo.
The Nichiren saint threw his life into the world of Buddha in order to make a pure world, and tried to realize this world. This work embodies his wish to become the cornerstone of world peace.
