Buddha and Art exhibition, Open day Discussion！
「仏とアート展」が開始した今日、写真家小平氏と画家塩澤が今回のテーマについて対談しました。
On the “Buddha and Art Exhibition” opening day, photographer Mr.Kohira, and painter Shiozawa talked about the event.
写真は結果を表現するにすぎないが、絵画は未来を含めて表現が出来るという幅広い可能性についてとてもうらやましく思うと小平氏
インドマハ―ボデイ寺院のミュージアムに展示を予定作品「釈迦宇宙巡礼図」は未来に向けて世界の人々が世界平和を目指してほしいという気持ち一心で描いていると塩澤。
Mr.Kohira said “Photographs are nothing more than an expression of the result. But painting has a wide range of possibilities because it can express things including the future. I am very envious of that point”
Shiozawa said, “Many of my pictorial expressions contain messages for the future.
The new work “Buddha Pilgrimage to Universe”, which is scheduled to be exhibited at the MahaBodhi Temple Museum, was drawn to promote world peace for the future”
空也像の写真や仏画を展示する今回は、仏教がテーマとなる。さとりとは何か？を皆様に考えていただくきっかけになったらよいと思う。
さとりとは、動物・植物・人間生きるもの全ての差（さ）を取り除く（とる）ことである。これは仏教が根ざす世界平和への考え方に通じます。
Buddhism will be the theme of this exhibition of Kuya’s photographs and Buddhist paintings.
What is enlightenment?
We hope that this exhibition will be an opportunity for everyone to think.
The Japnese word for enlightenment is“Satori”the direct meaning is “difference=Sa”and
“to take=Toru” which means to remove the difference between animals, plants, humans…all living things.
This is the way of thinking for world peace rooted in Buddhism
