三島市地元の皆様による暖かい誕生日会が開かれました。

A heart warming birthday party was held by the locals of Mishima City.

ジャンベを担いで東京へ日帰りした昨日の誕生日の翌日、本社がある地元三島の皆様が誕生会を開催してくださいました。
The day after yesterday’s birthday when I went to Tokyo for a day with a djembe, everyone in Mishima, where our head office is located, held a birthday party for me.

地元で大きな飲食店グループを経営する西原社長は、ご無沙汰しているにも関わらず、いつでも歓迎して楽しい仲間を呼んでくれます。
President Nishihara, who runs a large local restaurant group, is always welcoming and invites new friends for me even though I haven’t been here for a long time.
誕生日の心温まるお計らいに、嬉しくて胸が一杯になりました。
I was overwhelmed with joy at the heartwarming event on my birthday.

皆さんで、アーテイストの私を応援してくれているのを感じました。
I felt that everyone was supporting me as an artist.

未だ、地元には何もお返ししていませんが、アートで三島を活性する活動が今年5月から広小路の蓮馨寺様で始まります。
We haven’t given anything back to the local community yet, but activities to revitalize Mishima with art will start at Renkeiji Temple in Hirokoji from May this year.

三島はノスタルジックな夜の街が生き生きとしていて、美味しい食事何処やバーが沢山あります。移住する人も増えて、三島でウイスキーを造る事業も始まります。
Mishima is a lively nostalgic night town with lots of great places to eat and drink. More people moved to Mishima, and a whiskey-making business began in Mishima.
