『宥清寺・京都北野ジオラマ除幕式典』へ出席！長松清潤氏と久しぶりの会談へ。

Attended the Kyoto Kitano and Yuseiji temple Diorama Completion Ceremony.Meeting with Seijun Nagamatsu for the first time in a long time!

京都佛立ミュージアムでは開館10周年を記念して1955年当時の北野の街をジオラマで再現し,除幕式が行われました。

At the Kyoto Butsuryu Museum, a diorama was used to recreate the city of Kitano in 1955 to commemorate the 10^th anniversary of its opening, and the unveiling ceremony was held.

佛立ミュージアム館長であり本門仏立宗の五代目僧侶、長松清潤氏とお会いしてお話しました。

Shiozawa met and talked with Mr. Seijun Nagamatsu, the director of the Butsuryu Museum and the 5^th monk of the Honmon Butsuryuu sect.

長松氏は、インドマハボデイ寺院の壁画の依頼が塩澤にされたことを大変興味深く受け止めていました。世界中の人が注目する仏教寺院で、日本人が芸術でメッセージを発信出来る事は素晴らしい、協力したいと塩澤を励ましました。

Mr. Nagamatsu was very interested in the request for the mural painting from the Mahabodhi Temple in India to Shiozawa. He encouraged Shiozawa to cooperate with the Buddhist temple, which attracts the attention of people all over the world, and it is wonderful that Japanese artists can have a voice.

ロシア・ウクライナの戦争に対し、二人は今こそ仏教哲学に西洋は学ぶべきであるという点で強く共感しました。敵は外にいるのではなく、怒りも敵も愛も幸福感も全て自分の中に内在しているのだという仏教の考えをもてば、本来は戦争等起きない。核戦争も起こりかねない世界に向け、唯一の被爆国である日本人にその役割があるという点においても二人は一致し、協力体制を約束しました。

The two strongly sympathized with the Russian/Ukrainian war in that the Western people should now learn Buddhist philosophy. The enemy is not outside. If you have the Buddhist philosophy that anger, hostility, love, and happiness are actually inherent in you at the same time, no war will occur.

The two also agreed to cooperate in that the Japanese, the only country that was bombed, had the role of sending that message to the world where even a nuclear war could occur.
