ミネハハスクール2校を訪問し授業参観！＆ドンガシュワリ洞窟にて瞑想！

Visited two Minehaha schools and observed classes！Meditated at Dungeshwari Cave Temple！

ブッダガヤにある二つの学校を参観しました。
どちらの学校も貧困家庭の子供達の教育施設で一校は完全無料です。
We visited two schools in Budh Gaya.
Both schools are educational facilities for children from poor families and one school is completely free.

マハ―ボデイ寺院の周辺にもスジャータ村にも物乞いをする子供が大勢います。或いは小さい頃の栄養不足からの奇形で足がなく地面を這ってる人も大勢います。
There are many children begging around Mahabodhi Temple and in Sujata village.
There are also many people who are crawling on the ground with missing limbs due to malnutrition from birth.
貧困が蔓延しており、改善するためには教育が必要です。
Poverty is rampant and will only improve with better and more available education.
しかし国としての施しは今のところ明確ではなく、私達に解決できないとてつもなく大きな障害を感じます。
However, the measures as a country are not clear at the moment, and we feel that this is a huge problem that we cannot solve.

創建者のダルさんは現在の校長先生です。彼は下層階級の子供に教育をさせないように圧力をかける団体と戦いながら、この2校をここまで維持してきました。その努力に感服します。
The founder, Mr. Dharmendra, is the current principal.
He’s managed to keep the two schools going so far while fighting groups against the education of the lower caste. We admire his efforts.

せめてこの学校にトイレをつくるくらいは私達に出来るかもしれません。
At the very least, we might be able to build a toilet in this school.
生徒たちは歌を歌ってくれたり、手作りの絵をプレゼントしてくれたりして私達を歓迎してくれました。又、朝礼では子供がスピーチをしてくれました。貧困であっても彼らの目は清らかで輝いています。一人でも多くの子供が未来に希望が持てるようにしたいものだと心から思いました。
The students welcomed us by singing songs and presenting handmade paintings. Also, a child gave a speech at the morning assembly.　Even in poverty their eyes are pure and bright.　We sincerely believe that as many children as possible should be able to have hope for the future.

その後私達はブッダガヤの北東１２KmにあるDungeshwari洞窟に向かいました。
After that, we headed to Dungeshwari Cave, 12km northeast of Bodh Gaya.
釈迦が悟りを開く前に6年間瞑想をした洞窟です。The cave where Buddha meditated for six years before attaining enlightenment.私達は洞窟の中で釈迦にこころを馳せ30分程瞑想をしました。
We meditated in the cave for about 30minutes with Buddha in our hearts.
隣にある洞窟を美術館にした部屋には、苦行した釈迦と悟りを開いた釈迦の仏像が鎮座しています。
In the adjoining room, which is a cave that has been turned into an art museum, there are
Statues of the Buddhas who went through asceticism and the Buddha who attained enlightenment.
