バンドYABIの衣装をペイント！

Paint the stage costumes of the band YABI!

友人の娘さんが最近バンドを組み音楽活動を始めた。若い女の子のオリジナルバンドである。
A friend’s daughter recently formed a band and started a professional carreer. A young girl’s original band.

この日は、彼女とお母さんが一緒に京都のアトリエに来た。
On this day, she and her mother came to my atelier in Kyoto.

近日NHKの番組に出演取材のために衣装の装飾の文字を描いて欲しいというのだ。
Her band will be appearing on an NHK program, so she asked me to draw characters on her costume.

衣装はなんと柔道着である。文字は「癇癪もち」
The clothes are Judo uniforms. The character is “tantrum mochi”

何故柔道着なのかも聞かず、もちろん即引き受けて描いたのが写真の衣装です。
I didn’t even ask why it was a Judo uniform, and of course I immediately accepted the offer and drew the costume in the above photo.
