Invited to a large and imposing residence in Odawara, celebrated with a special Noren(a traditional entrance cloth) as a gift.
小田原市南町の街は小田原城下の町として由緒ある屋敷が立ち並んでいます。
その中の一軒の邸宅に移住された一級建築士の溝口氏をお祝いするための宴会が開かれました。邸宅は小田原の伝統を長年受け継がれた由緒ある家柄の別宅でもあります。
The town of Minami-cho, Odawara City is lined with historic mansions like the castle town of Odawara.
A banquet was held to celebrate Mr. Mizoguchi, a friend who moved to one of the mansions. There is also a separate house of Odawara’s traditional and venerable family.

This year is the year of the tiger, according to the Chinese zodiac. I printed the tiger of my Zodiac series on hemp cloth and made into a Noren. I gave it as a gift.

We invited guests to stroll around the nearby Mansions and souvenir shops, and then at a banquet I was excited to play the Hand-pan and Darbuka.
